"die mittagsfrau" more sketches...

today i had time to finish the second page for my comicversion of the book "die mittagsfrau" written by julia franck.... i have to correct myself... time to finish a sketch for page 2 -.-
it's the first time for me EVER doin' panels - i tried to create some kind of "reading flow" ?! hope you like.

edit: sketches for page 3 and 4 are finished... 4 more pages and i'm done.

edit 2: next pages (5 and 6) as a really ruff "sketchversion" and a second "censored version". my professor didn't like the first sketch for that scene - i was forced to illustrate another situation - i guess he didn't liked the "splatter" of that "handscene". he has not yet seen the second "censored version" - maybe now it's ok...

edit 3: next sketches (for the pages 7 and 8) are done. page 6 can remain this "censored" way. now i have to do 2 more pages (i haven't got any plans for going on...) - my professor wants to know what's next! (to be honest, me2 ;))

pencil drawing for my dad. it's his original oldskool golden "marine band" blues harp with mic, he just wants another original "müller" on his skin. (hope there's a good spot left for it) ;)

some early layout-sketches for a comic-project from university. target is to transform the first chapter of the book "die mittagsfrau" written by julia franck into a comicbook version... the faces in red circles are my final characters (i guess)... more to come ;)

the goon (sketch)...

yesterday i bought the first 2 german issues of "the goon" (by eric powell) and read it in no time at all (with more than just a big grin on my face) - it's simply fantastic! can't wait for the next episode... to shorten the long wait i did a little sketch of the two heros. yeah, i know not that creative, original idea and the paper is dirty and fucked up like hell, but that's just what my left hand wanted to draw i guess ;) hope you like.

the forgotten sketches (99-08)

the new semester just started and i already miss all that freetime!
i scanned some (almost forgotten) sketches i found yesterday from 1999 to 2007 . for me it's nice to have that nearly forgotten "real pen&paper stuff" finally on screen... there are sketches from professors, fellow students (nearly 2 years old), very old stuff from 99, 00 and 02, some stuff from my portfolio from 06 (the hand, the uterus, the chicken and the sprayer) and other things i recovered from an old blackbook. i hadn't got a scanner back in the days... hope you like ;)

mr.x - holt euch der teufel!

i made a few panels for the "mr.x - holt euch der teufel" comicjam - finished each one in 5 - 10 minutes. it's just for fun and i like the character ;)
